मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांनी महिला व बाल विकास विभागासोबत झालेल्या बैठकीत कोरोनापासून बालकांना सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी पुढील निर्देश दिले.

टास्कफोर्समधील बालरोगतज्ज्ञ आणि महिला व बालविकास विभागाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांत संवाद घडवून आणावा.

या संवादात बालकांना कोरोनापासून कशाप्रकारे सुरक्षित करता येईल याचे मार्गदर्शन करावे.

विभागाचा बालकांसंदर्भातील अनुभव आणि माहितीची देवाणघेवाण करावी.

यासंदर्भातील उपाययोजनांचा मार्गदर्शक सूचनांमधे समावेश करावा.

कोरोनामुळे दोन्ही किंवा एका पालकाचा मृत्यू झालेल्या बालकांबाबत विभागाने धोरण निश्चित करावे.

अशा बालकांना संगोपनापासून शिक्षणापर्यंतचे लाभ कसे देता येतील याची माहिती द्यावी.

• Department should formulate a policy for children who have lost one or both parents due to COVID, which must include information on provision for their upbringing & education.
• Establish lines of communications between the Pediatric Task Force and officials from the Department of Women and Child Development
• Chart mandatory guidelines & measures for the future functioning
• Exchange information and experiences regarding child care
